Palmeri Oro

Palmeri Oro was made to show the full potential of the vineyards of Avola. Only made in the best years and with the most concentrated grapes. The wine in the barriques is selected and only the most convincing age for another 12 months.

TASTING NOTES
Dark, almost black colour with violet reflexes along the rim. Complex bouquet of ripe cherry, blackberry and black currant, complemented with nuances of liquorice and coffee. Refined  tannin and a silky structure provide elegance to this powerful wine. With a lingering finish that goes on and on.

Grape varieties: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah, 10% Merlot

AGING

36 months in French oak barrels

VEGAN WINE

Enjoy with hearty meat dishes, game or mature cheese. An age Oro pairs well with lighter dishes, as well. Alternatively, try with a cigar after dinner.

5 – 10 years: powerful and opulent
10 – 20 years: so and fruit-forward
20+ years: complex and elegant

Decant for 30 – 60 minutes
Drink at 16 – 18 °C
