Palmeri Blu enhances the charm of the Nero d’Avola grape in a harmonious cuvée. Its soft structure gives the wine a lot of elegance and makes it pair perfectly with food. A reﬁned Nero d’Avola from the sunniest town in Italy.
Dark ruby colour. Intense nose with a lot of red fruit, plum and raspberries, the oak barrel contributes to complexity adding toasty notes and a bit of chocolate. On the palate, the wine is dense but elegant, with silky tannins and good structure. Aromas of red cherries and cedar linger in the long ﬁnish.
Grape varieties: 70% Nero d’Avola, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah, 5% Merlot

18 months in French oak barriques
Serve with mature cheese, grilled meat and typical Sicilian cuisine like “Capponata alla Siciliana” or with dark chocolate.
