- The extraordinary character of a Premier Cru terroir is expressed in this wine which combines the power of Pinot Noir with the elegance of Chardonnay.
The name “La Vignotte”, literally “the little vineyard”, refers to the size of the plots of our 1st growth property, many of which are no bigger than a garden.
This 1st Growth blend gives generous mousse and the bubbles swirl around in the glass in arabesques. The nose is structured with assertive minerality and very refined fruit flavours.
This champagne will accompany many dishes: from those with the iodine flavous of molluscs and shellfish dishes generally, noble fish dishes, white meat or even spicier dishes (such as curries or Indian cuisine). With the dessert, it marries well with those based on dried fruits and nuts. Serving temperature: 8-10°C (46-50°F).
Blend: 60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir
Maturation: Minimum 36 months
